I’m about this tall and weigh just a little too much. Thanks for asking.
5’10 130 Pounds.

As for the small sizes of clothing, it can be a bit frustrating over here. The XL (or LL as they call it over here) is about equivalent to an L back in Canada. When I first came here, I took an XL Canadian-sized t-shirt, and it was damn near impossible for me to find one.
Pants still cause a bit of trouble, but with more people eating more fatty foods and being unable to exercise due to being chained to their desks until 10 pm at the earliest, it’s not just the fat ugly gaijins who are in need of larger-sized clothing anymore.
Just about 6’1, at 163lbs.
HP calculators are sweet.
Stardog! Haven’t seen you around much lately…
5’11" 215 lbs… according to my bmi i am considered moderately obese… I think I am the perfect weight for someone 8’…
Ah, that dear BMI! Find a website that calculates it and enter the weight and height of some pro hockey players and you will see that many of them are overweight, some obese.
And try baseball or football players for fun!
Wikipedia says “…It is meant to be used as a simple means of classifying sedentary (physically inactive) individuals with an average body.”
Now pass the bag of chips!
6’0" and 185 approximate pounds. Got my Dad’s build for the most part (he still lives in P-Dot).
Taller than the broom and bigger than a breadbox.
Our receptionist’s friend came in today, she’s a tiny 4 ft Gr 12 redhead and I overheard her say she was joining the army. I had to ask, "Doesn’t the army have a mark on the wall like the rollercoaster? The one that says if you’re not taller than this you can’t ride?"
Jusdging by the look I got, she could kill 12 Talibans for Sgt. Rock’s every 1.
Hell I’d just fit her in the glovebox of the Humvee. Take her out and wave her around in my left hand so when the Taliban stood up to gawk I could plug 'em between the eyes with the .45 in my right hand.
5’ 10/11" 250 pounds I should probably lose another 20 but 10 in a month isnt toto bad.
How did you lose 10 in a month? That’s excellent!
I think I found them … 210 and, 'er … fairly constant 210 …
S,funny … when I was in shape I was 220 … many years ago …
Haven’t been around much lately. Work and the new photoblog keeps me very busy. stardog.shutterchance.com if anyone wants to check it out.

I can’t believe I checked every page of this thread to see if I’ve replied to this topic yet.
6’1, last time I weighed myself I was around 170, but since heading to college and becoming a lazy-ass it’s probably more like 180ish.
Thanks. Glad you like them. I bought myself a digtial SLR a while back and I’ve been trying to get a lot of use out of it.
This thread is a new low for the discourse on htmf.
cut out fast food and got more exercise of course
Only problem with that is that health experts say that it’s unhealthy to lose more than about a pound a week.
Recently, WebMD.com had an online forum regarding the reality TV show The Biggest Loser. In that show, contestants were losing up to 17 pounds per week. Dr. David Katz talked about the rapid rate at which the contestants lost weight:
To lose one pound in a week requires burning up the calories in that pound. There are just over 4,000 calories stored in a pound of fat. To burn that many calories in a week requires either increasing physical activity that much, or reducing caloric intake by 500 to 600 calories per day. This is more than a quarter of everything you eat if your diet is roughly 2,000 calories a day, and an even higher percentage of your total if you generally eat less than that. Just do the math!
The pace of weight loss on this show is extreme and imprudent. There is evidence, indeed extensive evidence, that the more rapid the pace of initial weight loss on any diet program, the more rapid and the more extreme the rebound weight gain. This is because strategies used for extremely rapid weight loss are unpleasant, erroneous, and unsustainable.
Bottom line: while someone may lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time via extreme measures, this weight loss may end up coming around to bite them in the ass if they’re not careful.
