Election Nonsense

Agh. Please, let’s not diminish true courage by using it this way. Harcourt just did what he thought was the proper thing to do. There was no great risk. If anything, it made him look good. What people like Rosa Parks and Harvey Milk did was courageous.

I have seen several of the pond banners around town damaged…
that’s a statement as I dont see coons signs damaged…

Does that mean Coons supporters are more ignorant?

Not true…I saw a Coons sign damaged.  It was replaced the next day.

i was waiting for this topic! lol

He still looks like the ex governor of Illinois who was charged and brought down. I have seen many of those signs down all over town but that is good because there are so many it looks like a grave yard.

To me the more that get torn down the better…

I doubt that the people who defaced these signs even know how to vote.

They know how to color and stay in the lines though.!  Pond resembles one of the kin from the Ozarks

Driving into town this afternoon saw the pond’s Liberal sign attached to the old wooden ‘welcome to PR’ sign, some one stapled a pair of old sun glasses to Pond’s mug. He looks even more 'Hollywood" with shades on, pretty cool touch. Didn’t have time to stop and take a pic.

It’s easier to replace them when it happens less. :stuck_out_tongue:

But seriously–I hate that people go around vandalizing signs, not matter who the sign is for. Not only is it criminal, but it’s also childish and disrespectful.

Was walking in Moresby Park and saw Herb’s face on the ground. Wondered what kind of comedy show someone was doing for their friends. LOL!

That being said, LEAVE THE DAMN SIGNS ALONE. I know my shouting won’t reach those brainiacs that are doing it, but I’m feeling a little better now, thanks.

Sign out on the highway…

Really classy.

Indeed.

While it’s pretty funny IMO, I don’t think it’s a really good idea for those who wanted to “take back your BC”.

I would like to point out that faces on signs is like a kid in white next to a mud puddle; you’re just asking for trouble.

How is putting a face on a sign asking for vandalism? Do you seriously think that if the Herb Pond campaign had used faceless signs, they wouldn’t be vandalized so much?

Yes, I think it would get rid of some vandalism.  A face is “fun” to drawn on (have you ever looked in a high school book and seen the pirate George Orwells), and getting rid of it would mean it’s just another boring sign.

This one is by far the funniest defacement I’ve seen all election.

Nice touch with the glasses at least.
