Wrote Off The Red Ford Ranger (well brownish red...)

What kind of truck did herbie buy again? All this crap being thrown around has made me forget.

I think the next car I’ll get will be a '79 Trans Am. There’s something just too cool about that car. I’d like to pick a body up dirt cheep and build it right from the ground up. New everything. When that happens I’ll be here bragging about my car.

There’s no pride to be had about picking something up off the shelf and bragging like you invented it. I’ll give you some credit if you strap on a bunch of crap to make your rice-mobile a little quicker, but that doesn’t take any skill. There are a million other cars EXACTLY like yours doing the same thing. Skill is taking something that doesn’t just bolt on, and then making it work. Do something different, then brag.

lol

…sorry had to put that in there, just to finish it off.

I ordered a new engine that I’m rebuilding my self. I don’t need any one to do it for me… I’ll have help lifting it in and welding new engine mount’s and then body work for the intercooler. Things that are going to be done…

New crank, cam Piston’s, lifter valves Timing Gears ( Twin cam’s )
Port polished ( getting sent away to be done)
intake changed from 2 injectors to 4
new computer reprogrammed.
exhaust

Then ill add a turbo and maybe a air valve to speed up the spool that a turbo has. As ill be working on the car also shocks new strut bars sway bar’s I’m hooked on the new projection lights.

And far as your srt don’t forget to pick up mom because its mom’s car…

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Don’t forget to put a boatload of stickers on it - especially manufacturers’ emblems for stuff you’re “going” to get.

Be sure to pick up a turbo rotary with headers for your Mustang GT-R while you’re at it. Next time, know what you’re talking about before you open your mouth and sound like an idiot.

By the way - I noticed you’re insecure enough to have changed your sig to refect 240HP. Must be nice to brag about something you don’t have.

You know, I have nothing bad to say about Hondas. They’re OK cars, reliable transportation, and they get great mileage. Everybody and their dog has one. It’s not the Hondas that make me laugh, it’s the drivers. There are fast Civics and CRXs for sure, but they’re not cheap to achieve and they’re not easy to run. My Civic Si was starting to rust though, and I took immaculate care of it. Two years is a little short for rust to appear on a new car though.

Be sure to let us know how that 10PSI blows out the bottom of your block. FYI - you can’t reboot a Honda.

No but 11psi will… hence why honda didnt produce a Ztec engine with turbo on it, to the best of my knowledge.

Ow. My pride.

no max is 15psi… but that is really really pushing it, with out a fuel managment.

Here is a good example what a honda engine can be done with…!

So… you’re gonna turbo your NA Honda motor, have it spike at 15PSI, and run without fuel management. That should be good for, oh… driving out of the shop. Then, ka-BOOM!

You do know that S2000 motors tend to burst at 10+PSI without signifigant stiffening of the block and internals… and that’s the F20C motor, which is much stronger than the B16A motor. Are you gonna swap the VTEC heads onto the B16A? Are you gonna get forged internals? Are you gonna reinforce the engine at all? 15PSI will blow parts through your hood man. Go on Honda-Acura.net and do some reading of your own. Hell - drop the cash on a B18C6 swap and be done with it. Or go bigger; “there’s no replacement for displacement”.

Jesus Leaman - you talk out of your ass any more and you’ll lose the ability to pucker. Here’s a good example of someone not knowing what the hell they’re talking about.

Check your PMs Eso!

Second of all go read more…

Either way i bought a new shifter knob today so nobody can beat me… well unless you bought the one with leds… and the chrome pedals! omg those would make my car so fast itd be unbeatable…

Any ways to continue any one can spend massive amounts to make there car fast in the end they all get you a huge fine and speeding ticket’s… \

I just did a buncha mods to my car for free… others have reported between 10-20 hp gains from doing such things, plus i accidently did a burnout… which is funny because my cars all wheel drive…

I’ve got a 2.2L in my mazda that produces 88hp stock, and i put on a K&N airfilter, and Platinum Split fire plugs, advanced the timing, and i run 91 octane in it. It has consiterably more power then when i first got the truck. I can easily do a burnout, and you can now feel it pushing you in your seat a bit when accelerating. I guessing with those cheaps mods its got maybe another 20hp. Still dog slow, but at least its get a bit more pep off the line. Pep is just a word for a bit zippy, but no power.

My car is peppy!

The engine in my Vue is a Honda 3.5L. Pretty peppy already but all this talk…
What’s the lingo these days? Do I ‘rice up’ a minivan?
