I just find the phone screen too small to do Internet browsing, games, maps, using most apps. CBC news app lets me size the text within articles but narrow fields need excessive scrolling.
Until I set up a NAS even pictures were a PITA, the phone’s for phoning and texting and the odd photo.
And my new faves, butt dialing and taking movies of the inside of my coat pocket…

Ended up w a recovered HP i3 laptop. Windows was slower than the 2nd coming, so I popped in an old 120 SSD and Pop!OS.
Works! Unlike the Pi version… pretty quick and lots of odd features to it.

Now that this Covid thing is almost done with, someone brought me their laptop because they’d given up Zoom and did their meetings by phoning in because the camera “didn’t work”.
Took 2 years to DO something about it and bring it in.
And sure enough, the camera didn’t work because they put a piece of tape over it the day they bought it and forgot about it, couldn’t see it for looking in 2 years…
