The latest rumour "Mill" for August 2010

Come Ajaye give us all a hint , do you have that good a connection with our Shitty Council ?

no, no don’t tell me…let me guess…Veniez has teamed up with Sun Wave and have bought the mill…oh, please great Wizard…let ME be the right guesser…don’t let just ajaye be all-knowing, all-powerful
The mill will never open as a pulpmill again what is planned out there is going to blow you away
and dont worry the city will be getting all there money back and plus some.
And it’s called a rumour mill.

I’m the owner. Everybody should be blown away now.

Sorry ajaye, your source is 99.9% unreliable.

OMG…we r saved! Finally our saviour(s) are here!
How is this for Prince Rupert’s newest “BIG THREE”?
AJAYE, Ghandi and Barrack Obama have finally joined forces for the good of us PODUKIANS!!!YAY!
The only question left is what r u guys gonna do with the Island now?

I know its going to be great deal for everyone.

You are a rather tiresome poster from time to time

Ayjaye, you’ve been 100% wrong about everything you’ve ever written on this site.

So if anybody wants confirmation of something big happening at the mill site, here’s your anti-confirmation. Ayjaye thinks it’s going to be great deal, so it’s going to be the opposite.

I would have been very excited if Ayjaye had actually said that it was bad news for the mill, that would mean that good news was coming.

Ajaye46 I think you may be the worlds only delusional optimist

For christ sake can you guys think positive for once in your lives,no wonder our town is going know were
if eveyone thought like you we all would be dead in the water.

QFT…but…he does regularly provide comic relief here on HTMF.

It is OK to be positive ajaye, but when you write

you sound like you actually know something. Has it been bought by a very wealthy investment group? or is this just you thinking positively with absolutely nothing to support your optimism?

Looking at ajayes’ post history on here, I assume it was bought by one of his millionnaire relatives or possibly a choice few as he has suggested in the past that he has “many” !

So the mill has been bought by a “very wealthy investment group” … the council hasn’t gotten around to telling us … no surprise there really.

Isn’t that what New Skeena and Sun Wave were mostly about? … wealthy investors … but not much money as things turned out, and not enough to pay city taxes … and some big ideas … in the end mostly about liquidating some assets then leaving town … what was originally on offer turned out to be just a bunch of talk.

I think what would perk up quite a few of us would be news … or even a good rumour, preferably supported by a photo or two … about a buyer who is actually involved in the transportation business … with plant and equipment, an existing workforce, that sort of thing … outfits like CN, or Canpotex would no doubt inspire confidence … even a smaller player like Quickload would get points as a going concern, moving cargo and so on.

My initial reaction to your report about wealthy investors is that you’re probably right … I wouldn’t be surprised if the city’s leaders climb back on the merry go round, and take us on another ride with high rollers from afar with big ideas … perhaps backed up by casino money this time, that sort of thing … but no place of business that anyone is aware of.

By the way, do you write these news bulletins on company time? … just wondering.

No im just trying to let you know that we are on the road to prosparity again, the deal with the mill is under very
tight rules and we all must respect that.

So tell us ajaye, what makes you so special in this town to be the only one in the know, as usual ! And use your spellcheck, would you please?
Prince Rupert Mayor Jack Mussallem confirms the City is continuing to work out the details of the sale of the defunked Skeena Cellulose Pulp Mill on Watson Island to a single potential buyer. The City has been trying to sell the mill since ownership was defaulted back to it last year after Sunwave Forest Products of China renegged on paying several millions of dollars in outstanding taxes. Mussallem says an announcement could be made in the near future which may result in the diversification of Watson Island, leading to to jobs for the people on the North Coast.

"it’s not a straight forward sale because a former owner has got some chattles out there that need to be removed so we’re working through all of that but we hope to in the near future have an announcement regarding Watson Island and the opportunities that it could hold for people not only in Prince Rupert but in Port Edward and Metlakatla, Lax Kwalaams, possibly Kitkatla, it just depends on the variety of uses of that property out there. Said Mussallem.
JC you are funny!! Rather than cows though, what about bulls? It would be nice for the citizens here to put an end to $100,000/month for maintenance.

Well lets all hold our breast , sorry breath. Ajaye predicts there is something in the works fur christ sake as he would put it . Yeah he is in the know and with all the right people I sure he can not be wrong . The Bull part well I will let you use that if you wish because I must stick to my own frame of thought . Where was I ? Shit never mind.

How many times has Ajaye told us that it was sold??

Im not saying the mill is sold what i am saying is its in a process and there are very wealthy powerful folks involved
in this process we in prince rupert have suffered alot and i think all the praying our town has been doing is going to
pay off,i dont want to get to far ahead because folks think im full of it i can tell you i care about my town and the people
who live here this city will always be called home for me evey breath i take i will always remember what prince rupert stands
for a city of good careing folks who just want to better there futures and give there children a safe and loveing up bringing
in a city were everyone knows each outher and will always greet you with a smile and welcome anyone who comes to live here
or just passing through, lets be positive in our feelings god will bless us for we have learned such a big lesson in the last 12 years
since skeena went down lets all rise above those who say our city has no hope and show the world we are the nicest fo;ks you will
ever meet in a town that has so much to offer to familys who one day will call prince rupert home.
