I don’t know if anyone has directly come out and said that you got attacked because you knocked on their door. We’re not ignoring the fact that the dog has issues that need to be corrected before strangers should be allowed to come inside. At the very least they should have a ‘Beware of Dog’ sign on their door or window. Perhaps that will be something that the Bylaw officer will say they must do.
And people keep mentioning about the possibility of someone walking by their house or walking through their yard and getting attacked, well that hasn’t happened. The dog was INSIDE the house if I’m not mistaken. Let’s not speculate that the owners would be so careless as to leave their dogs outside in their state.
