My upload to Rupert always sucks. What have you guys got a big ADSL pipe or something?

ribbing ya: I have a full E10 on the ski hill here and dedicated 5Ghz radio to my house. The feed AP is amped, the CPE isn’t so my uploads are a little bit slower but that doesn’t fully account for the down/up figures to Rupert.
The painful figures I posted were from a ‘Rocketstick’ I’m testing on another laptop.

Our speeds within town are okay.  But, there is a bottleneck or something out of town. :imp:

ya  my speed tests are always slow on my adsl line. who do I talk to about getting real speeds going around here.

Yeah that’s just disgusting. My heart bleeds for ya, like it does for the guy 50 miles up the lake griping that his shared by 200 ppl connection only get 4.7 up and down.


This is what you could have for a paltry $3,000 a month.

Just to compare… This service is about the same price as the step above ‘lite’ from Citywest. I couldn’t believe how terrible the Citywest service was on my last visit.
