It was far too targeted to be a coincidence. I don’t think anyone is suggesting that Mr Coons was sending people around to do it, but both the frequency and the nature of the vandalism suggests it was political retaliation rather than senseless.
Don’t blame the beast for its nature, though. Socialist = active. Capitalist = we can buy more signs.
I don’t know about it being orchestrated by the Coons team - I saw a couple of giggling fourteen year old girls chucking Pond signs off Rushbrook Street into the bushes. They didn’t look like NDP supporters to me. 
Seems obvious to me that someone(s) had a hard-on for Pond. Doesn’t necessarily mean they were NDP.

I think he will save them but I seriously believe he should get a job and again I would bet he gets a job in Victoria from Gordo since he makes us believe he is so close to the other guy.
I just took my Gary Coons down that I had stapled onto my picket fence. In one corner it has the #4 plastic label (low-density polyethylene). It’s one of the kinds of plastic the local recycling depot accepts. Can’t reuse it - has a few rips from the staples in it- so I’ll take it there.

Also there are some along Park Ave still.
They took the Pond signs down on McBride & 11th and also by McDonalds; but only the signs, the pallets and other wood are still there…clean it up!

There is at least one Pond sign still left on George Hills Way. It looks as though the wind blew the sign from the wire stand. It’s only six feet from the stand. Did anyone think to make a map of their signage?

I still see lots of NDP signs floating around and no one is mentioning those. For example, up at the park by the hospital hanging from a tree, I see orange and blue.
What is unfair about bringing their attention to this?
The NDP sign above the Cow Bay sign is still there also.
