It was just a trashcan fire and someone put it out by dumping a bed pan on it.
Nicks Pizza, The International POOL Hall (I miss that place), The HOT SPOT, also, I remember the smell of the old Prince Rupert Hotel. Wierd. Was there also a restaurant named “The Commodore”

Actually it was a lamp that had been up-ended and started the floor smoldering, And was caught and put out by an alert security guy, who smelled the smoke before the alarm went off, used an extinquisher and should be commended.
So much for the bedpan theory.
