My Internet speeds have improved since CityWest moved me off the IP addresses that they were leasing from Telus. :smile:

Do you geys ever notice times when everything just STOPS for a couple minutes, then everything works okay again?
Noticed a couple DSLs I use here in the Fort that do that, and I saw it in Terrace where I only used the Net for a couple hours. Loading a page, it times out. Refresh, nothing. Try another site, it may or may not come up. Five minutes later, everything is fine.
Like the pipe out of the Fort is jammed at times too… or spotty network troubles

Yeah happens for me every once in a while, but Im loving (Shaw) for my Internet provider now instead of CityWest.

Thats exactly what DSL speed IS.
Unless you live in a bigger town close to the phone office and pay a lot more money.
Or move to PG where Shaw is, they ain’t coming to the boonies anytime soon. They’re only in a city as small as PG because it’s the HUB CITY in this province.

Mine also, strange the way it goes 0.48 mbps with the upload to Vancouver then drops magically to 0.27 mbps for the last 5 seconds or so. lol
