Internet speed

It’s fast from work locally but slows down out of town.

Pretty bunk if u ask me

Yup, Pretty bunk.  here are my speeds from 8:30p.m.

to chicago.

and to burnaby, I won’t be gaming at all until 3 or 4 a.m. probably, not at these speeds

can we file a mass complaint with signatures, saying that we think  we are getting riped off and made fools, we take it and have no choice, let another company build a network here so theres competition .

I think we could get the whole town to sign it …

Thank God for SHAW

where are you guys

Now if YOU were paying a couple grand a month for 10 Meg, you’d have grounds to bitch.
Otherwise take your $30 and STFU.
This is what I pay for:

Ditching these guys tomorrow. Pay off their contract in $30 instalments. That’s about the what it’s worth. :imp:

What does City West Cable tells you when you show them this kind of results?
VNC to the office 10 MEG. There are well over 100 users on the office system at the moment.
Soon to be 30 Mb
This is from home, just me what an hour after my last post?

(MODIFIED - couldn’t copy from VNC to Mac … had to handwrite the .png #)

city west prety much blames somone else everytime i phone them like nothing can be their fault there too good to rip us off lol

I was told to turn off/unplug my modem and wait and then plug it in and turn it back on and everything would be rosy!

That works when you are having modem problems , not the problem here

why must we pay for somthing we dont get damnit

I think I am paying for 1.5 to 2 mbs  or what ever.

Thats what they told me when I told them my internet sucked balls and they basically said to just reboot the modem…fixes everything!

My internet, and my boyfriends internet, always, always disconnects. It’s not the router, or the modem, in both cases, it’s Citywest. I don’t even want to bother trying to tell them that though. Heaven forbid they’d have to fix something for once. :unamused:
