Dudley's do nothing.........?

well council watch…you might as well start the process and unofficially announce your intent to run.
Tell us a little about your self…what you stand for …what you would like to see done with in the community.

Well you have my vote. I dont think you could make it any worse then it already is.

Thanks for your vote.  When the time gets closer, I will provide you with my profile and ask for your valuable input.  I will tell you that I am a honest, hard working person who has dedicated long hours by helping others.  I have many strengths and have been considered an asset to some of more former employers.

I believe that all of us deserve a high quality of life, not just the people who live on Silversides Drive or Graham Avenue.  I also believe that it isn’t just one person that makes a difference on city council, it takes everyone to put a positive effort forward.  Rather than beating some of the issues such as logging across the harbour, while our infrastructure is crumpling is so unproductive.  I believe that our Mayor could spend more time in our community in can easily accomplish through technology rather than spending unnecessary funds to travel to meetings where half time he may be there in body, but not in mind.

I also believe that Prince Rupert was built as an industrial community and that we need to start focusing on these things again.  Otherwise, residential taxpayers will continue to pay for what we have lost.  So, these are just some of the things that I think that we all need to be looking at if Prince Rupert is going to function as a whole community again.

Okay Fair enough…it takes a team… a group of well informed citizens…representative of the population…

Aww come on…GONG!!!..hes one member of the “team”…the leader of the team mind you…what are you saying about not being there in mind???  I can vision Herb schmoozing with highly important people.  Not off in some dingy bar …

Frankly our taxes have gone up minimal since the lose of the pulp mill.  I am ok paying the taxes that I do for the service I get.  I honestly never want the pulp mill to run again.  It was an environmental mess.  What kinda industry are you suggesting//?

Hey Council Watch,

I love the democratic process!  I’m looking forward to reading more about you and your platform in the lead-up to the election.

McSash, you love Herb so much, why don’t you just marry him!

I wasn’t suggestion that we re-start the pulp mill.  Like you, I too am all for the environment and believe that we could all be doing a lot more to ensure that we do everything we can to curtail global warming.  What I was suggestion was that we can also do more locally to create employment.  We use to have a very modern sawmill, but was closed after the provincial government decide to re-write the forestry policies to allow for the elimination of timber licenses tied to sawmills.  As most of you are aware, a huge percentage of raw logs are now shipped from our outlying communities.  This type of activity eliminates not creates jobs.  I believe that our city council needs to take a hard look at industry that can compliment the new container facility.  We need to start looking at value added industry that will produce jobs that pay a decent wage and benefits.

You should restart the pulp mill, but let the pulp stew into methanol or ethanol instead of worrying about paper.

My suggestion to turn the old pulp mill site into a money maker?

Nuclear power plant.

Three words: Pulp Mill World!!

Oh No! Hmmm, considering China’s record when it comes to large industrial complexes, perhaps this is one industry we may wish to take a pass on. Not sure that the People’s Liberation Army would have our best interests at heart there…

You guys made the dullest suggestions I’ve ever heard.

My Ultimate Suggestion for the Pulp Mill Site:

HENNESSEY COGNAC DISTILLERY!!!

I was his BJ buddy tonight…BLACKJACK…so get your mind out of the gutter.
HERB donated his previous nights winnings tonight.
HErbs agood guy.
HAndled himself very well with slighly intoxicated downtown merchant tonight who tried to talk or slur politics tonihgt…AT the BJ table.

YOu cant afford that shit.
Your a clown kim Jong Il…you eat to much Kimchi…and watch hairy asian porn…

This is wrong, that is wrong, this guy is bad, that guy is lazy. You’ve done an excellent job listing several problems you think exist in Prince Rupert.

Now, for the A, what are your solutions?

Leave the comedy to the professionals, Kim.

Man, I feel like turning you into food aid…

Like I said in an earlier post, we need to start somewhere please read:
