There are several reasons that I personally will choose Hawk air.

1. The very helpful, efficient and friendly service agents both here and in Vancouver.
2. The ease of getting through to their reservation number in Vancouver.
3. The South terminal’s ease of access and parking.
4. Their availability of open ended medical travel.
5. Using the ‘Shop Local’ idea applied to travel within BC.
6. Personal experience of the very caring attitude of the local staff during a very                difficult time that travel was necessary for medical reasons.
7. Downtown check in with a real waiting room as opposed to sitting on your suitcase
   on the sidewalk in front of the hotel entrance. (Jazz should take some pictures of that
   for their advertising brochure. ‘Largest air conditioned waiting room in the world’)

   
   
               

I can see a lot of valid points there… I still end up flying with Jazz more, as they take airmiles and they fly out of here 7 days a week with both morning and evening flights, all but Saturday ,(Hawk Air has no Saturday service in the winter) AC Jazz also connects to a vast network.  I use Hawk Air when I can, including this weekend and I really look forward to doing so.  I still think the ground staff at Jazz do the very best they can and they are 'local" …  It is beyond their control the set up that they have…I don’t always find the South Terminal to be an advantage as I travel back and forth to YVR on the new Sky Train, and you have to wait for the shuttle to South Terminal… If you are not connecting you have to make your way from South Terminal to the main to catch sky train… I am grateful we have both and support both the local as well as major airline service.
