This afternoon, I cannot even get into my mail account as it takes toooooooooooooooo long?

I heard something on the radio about a web attack on yahoo, google and microsoft ( and maybe others) forcing them to shut down somehow.
Actually, it wasn’t on on those websites themselves, it was on Akamai, which provides the load-balancing and mirroring:

So basically Akamai was offline for a couple of hours, and any site that used them was also not working properly.

Maybe it was an internet culture shock to yahoo members. We must have all logged in to check out the massive space. 100mb of space and 10 mb of space sending files. (WOW) 
This sucks. This computer at java isn’t displaying any pictures or images at all. Looking on ebay isn’t any fun when I can’t see the crap I’m bidding on
