The Prime Minister is having a news conference very shortly. The speculation is that JT will be resigning as PM, but, stay on as an MP.
Trudeau just resigned.
Feeling like Carney is gonna be the next federal liberal leader, all notables aside.
He doesn’t have the political baggage that Freeland has, but, Freeland has experience dealing with TheDonald.
Christie Clark is also baggage free. But Freeland’s the top contender AFAIK.
Sad in that PP just can’t stop sucking up to the lunatic extremists.
For me it’s hard to say Christie Clark with out invoking my gag reflex. What a cow. In her time as our premier she enjoyed violating collective agreements. I really hope they don’t select Clark.
Didn’t her government bring in the carbon tax in BC? Or am I confusing things?
But for me, Christy Clark is the one who fought teachers all the way to the Supreme Court over ripping up signed collective agreements.
Campnell brought in the Carbon Tax. And she was and is a Liberal so barely tolerant of collective bargaining.
Beats running on axing the tax with no carbon policy whatsoever, pretending it’s a significant benefit to taxpayers and pushing the bullshit they’re after hundreds of years totally against them, they’re now the party that supports the working class.
But she IS from BC rather than the Ontario/Quebec inner enonomic elites.
And I never vote Liberal anyway. Funny looking turbans > losing the glasses and showing your beady little eyes to the public.
I’m with you there. Jagmeet is my choice. Clark has some deep pockets if she can cough up $350,000 just to run for the leadership of the libs.
Pocket money compared to that spent on spreading lies and rumours for TV ads like PP does.
Ya know, it’s all the other MPs that are only in it for the money. The Tories must be so rich they don’t need salaries or pensions, eh?
PP is doing the Trump thing spout catchy phrases and offer no policies, stir up dissent for no reason just to get elected, his Singh is waiting to collect his pension and tells ppl how much it would be over 25 years, well why doesn’t he tell the ppl how much his pension would be over 25 years? oh right because it would be way more, right now Singh is entitled to $66,000 per year at age 65 while PP is entitled to $235,000 per year starting at age 65 so he would collect $5.9 mil compared to Singh’s $1.7 mil, but Singh saying Trudeau had ruined the country is funny considering that to have SInghs support he had to implent NDP policies too, so I guess the NDP Policies also ruined the country?
