Does anyone else find the “recent report” commissioned by the city on the effects of ferry cuts somewhat dubious?
It’s not necessarily the results and comments that I question but it seemed rather rushed and to come out of nowhere. Normally, we would be told who/which company did the report and we would be told where to find it but, in the View’s story below, there is no mention of any of that. Was it done on the back of a napkin since the mayor woke up and noticed it was an issue that he couldn’t “wait and see” on? The dramatic title is bizarre too: “Beyond Hope.” Why are we bothering to protest it then, if that’s the case??
