Looks like the chocolate ice-cream sitting in my freezer. Freezer burn rules.  :stuck_out_tongue:

You know it’s been a busy week when I haven’t even been able to check out the “Where is this?” entry.

Can I walk there from Prince Rupert?

Is it winter there now?

#4

Does it get over 120 in the summer there

Is this country experiencing upheaval right now? i.e. war, insurrection, coup, tribal warfare, revolution…that would be right up my alley

#11

Does this area have anything to do with Al-Queda and the “War” on terrorism?

So what’s special about this place?  I hope you had a blast looking for it!

#17

Nope, I scanned wikipedia.  As soon as I knew it was Afghanistan, I thought about significant sites.  This was the first one I hit.  Wikipedia has the coordinates right in the article.
