Where is this? #33

Yeah, but my answer will confuse him more than a yes/no answer.

Hmmm… just looked it up, and yes, a famous “discoverer” was born nearby (very close), but I don’t think there were any famous “discoveries” here.

Plains of Abraham

I’m not going to get mad at you or insult you but don’t you think that before guessing something and wasting a question, you should check it first? A simple google search of Quebec city would have shown you that the picture that MiG posted is missing the St-Lawrence River! A little more research on http://www.terraserver.com would have shown you the aerial shot of Quebec city like this:

The green part near the center is what is known as the Plains of Abraham.

Does the country where this area is located boarder a sea or an ocean?

Yes

Is it in Asia?

We’re not supposed to answer point-blank geography questions like this.

But since this is slow-going, I’ll answer “no” to this question.

Here’s the picture again in case you need a reminder:

Is this place 700 years or more old?

Yes.

Is there the letter “P” in the name of the country this place is in?

No.

Was the conflict set in the 20th century?

Yes.

Is the main language spoken in this area part of the latin family of languages?

Well, it gets a bit tricky when you say “latin family of languages” and “main language” and then even trickier when you say “this area”.

So let me answer with this: There are no significant numbers of people who use one of the “Romance Languages” in this country or this area. Romance Languages being Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian, and the ones related to those.

Is this place south of the Equator ?

Not supposed to answer these kinds of questions. Can you ask it more creatively?

Is Polaris visible from this place on a cloudless night?

I think so, though I’ve never been there. Might be a mountain in the way
