Was that building burnt during armed conflict?
It was either destroyed in a conflict, or is being rebuilt after a
conflict. This place was definitely attached in a conflict in the
last 30 years, maybe more than one conflict, and maybe more than one
attack, I’m not sure.

Or maybe I should reformulate my question: Does this river flow into the Indian Ocean?

I think I am not 100% done with this. What’s the name of the building in the picture?
Just using all the information that is there and then looking at inland places in recent conflict areas I got to Basra an Google Earth after Kuwait, Bagdad etc.
This picture was taken near Sinbad Island in Basra.
It is a halfbuilt casino building on what the Iraqis call…Cigar Island

I found out about the casino on the island too but couldn’t find a picture of it anywhere so I wasn’t sure.
