Vancouver and anyone else on the West Coast who would like to demonstrate their commitment to action on climate change to the world by powering down for Earth Hour, the time for the west coast is 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

There’s gonna be a kind of street party down at City Hall. Life acoustic performances etc.

Frances and Sarah are going to be playing. Also Evin.

I liked that during the whole thing, city hall had all their lights on.

Nice shots, Lemrac, thanks.  I enjoyed Earth Hour.  As the light faded I was telling stories to my 5 year old while simultaneously trying to get my teenager to do the dishes (her chore).  A good time. :smile:

LOL, well everything comes in baby steps eh, at least they didn’t use neon lights for the Earth Hour signs… :smiley:

Hmm, just wondering there, I Hope all the signs were made of recylcable paper and tape…  :wink:

We powered down to one low-energy light and a candle for the hour-everyone sat and read, wasn’t a big deal but my fish were a little startled to have the lights in their tank off so early in the evening!  :smiley:
