I am just curious if anyone knows why the water truck was hosing off the road near the sidewalk by the movie theatre today?

Not at all, yay that our taxes are serving a purpose. I just thought it was strange for just that one section. I was thinking something may have spilled or a fatal accident may have happened?
The smell of fish guts was pretty heavy this morning downtown, so perhaps someone carrying offal had a spill in that area. Not an unlikely event, considering the tendencies of some Rupertites to just jump out in front of cars and trucks at that particular crosswalk.
