I’d like to download videos in MP4 format to put on a usb stick and then play on my dvd player, which doesn’t play flv videos.
I am using Firefox with Windows.
Anyone suggest a good program to use?

Just an idea.
Try the free version first. It won’t probably let you convert an entire file but you can test it out and if it works pay the $29.99 for a functional version.

I’ve used Easytube video downloader for videos on youtube

If you’re using Firefox, couldn’t you just “view source” the web page for the media file and download that straight away? (if it’s not on youtube that is)

OK then…check out xilisoft website…they have every kind of converter you would ever need. I use several of them. They work fine but they are not freeware.
