The upside is how quickly it was patched. And if you haven’t updated it manually already, then it was automatically updated for you by now.

And that’s the downside of pushing out a non-optional update to everyone :-). You don’t get to test its side effects.
This is only the second time Apple’s pushed a non-optional update, BTW. I think that’s the reason why…

Had to tell a Mac user on the absolute-end-of-the-line for DSL, literally the last house to do it overnight… literally speed test ‘jumped up’ to 180K for a couple seconds… pulled out my iPhone to make a hotspot - No signal.
At least she has sat tv. The cliffs block all 31 free tv channels from BOTH transmit towers too.
