Two brazen robberies strike Terrace in one week

Terrace RCMP are dealing with a pair of robberies in the community in the last week that certainly seem more common to big city crime sheets than that of smaller northern communities.

Friday night the latest incident took place as a downtown Terrace clothing store was robbed a gunpoint.

While many in the community were taking part in that city’s winterfest celebrations or doing some downtown Christmas shopping, a long male gunman wearing a balaclava entered the Urban Colours clothing store on Lakelse, brandished a gun and demanded that the cashier open the cash till.
