Apparently there has been a freight train derailment around Kitwanga. The Via rail passengers were bussed from George to Rupert tonight, so it must have happened early this morning, since Via leaves George at 8 in the morning. Has anybody up the line heard anything about this?
A friend just got home on the bus that Via ran from George this morning…
A bus will depart in the morning back to George as well. The expect to be back to normal for Saturday AM out of George West
