I get free wireless down here in van, its probably the fastest internet I have ever used. The only thing is I only get a max of 3kb/s. Can the server disable torrent downloads? or is there a way around this?
The place you’re getting free wireless most likely has Traffic Shaping of some sort. The disabling of Torrent traffic is one of the many features of Traffic Shaping. 
And it’s people like Billy that made them use traffic shaping.
Free wireless isn’t good enough, gotta pig up as much bandwidth as you possibly can…
