I have recently heard that Telus has put up a cell tower in Pt. Edward meaning that Prince Rupert residents can now obtain Telus cell phone service with a Pt Edward number? Of course this would mean a local number for us and that we could have access to all that Telus has to offer,
seems to good to be true, can anyone confirm this information.
Telus can use the Citywest towers. Just call Telus and ask for a Port Edward number, they’ll give you a 778-884-xxxx number, but it is a local call to and from Prince Rupert. Just like Rogers gives you a 250-600-xxxx number in Port Edward. They are all local numbers.
