So it looks like DFO wants to wipe out not only sockeye but spring salmon from the Skeena river!One of the worst returns of both in years.It should be shut down for everyone,no food fishing which has turned into a joke on many levels.Conservation still comes first!

Any idea why the returns are diminishing? Is it that all the skeena watershed has been logged to hell and back? And why should anyone in their right mind be “conserving” a salmon run? What you should be conserving, is the amount of gasoline and diesel you burn, and the number of trees you cut down in order to pay for them and the vehicles that use them. - Now that would be an effective “conservation” strategy.
