I listened to this blues jam that my brother just threw down and sent to me.
I’ve been grooving to this one tune all day… (yeah, I know “grooving” is a hopelessly outdated term, but it seems strangely fitting in this case from some odd reason) Anyway, the song’s called “One Thing Leads To Another” by The Fixx. To the best of my knowledge, they were nothing more than a one-hit wonder, but it’s still a great tune from the early 80’s. Had a great groove to it, which is something that tends to be missing in a lot of music these days.

*Black Juju *and The Ballad of Dwight Fry, by Alice Cooper; both trippy, going from mellow to rockin’ in an instant. They’re on the best AC album, Love It To Death.
Alice Cooper’s “Nightmare Returns” tour, Calgary, 1987: still my favorite concert ever!

The whistling song everyone hates is another song from Gwen Stefani, called Cool. She may be hot, some of her music alright. But man its annoying
Hot? I do not think so pal. Yikes!!!
If she is the singer of that song, grrrrrrrr!
Oh boy do I hate that song. Is today a hating day.
I got so fed up with the Rupert Station that I put it on another a.m. station.
Lots of talking and a few wierd songs but it’s better that Soaking up the Fuckin sun all day. We don’t need Crow’s tann. And no whistling. And you wanna know HOT!
Listened to Kickstart my Heart today… had an argument with a coworker about what the greatest motorcycle song of all time is.
I was kind of sticking with the Crue, he was saying Wanted Dead or Alive.
I was just thinking about this post the other day. Kickstart My Heart is probably the best Harley song out there. It’s just like a Harley: big, fat, and loud.
But I also like Machine Head by Bush. That’s more of a Kawasaki Ninja or a Ducati-type song: light, lean, and limber.
Both are great, just different.
