How messy was your room, if you had to listen to that many songs?! :open_mouth:  Got some good ones in there.
Listened to some Linkin Park, Metallica, and Three Days Grace today…

I did the total package… dusting, vacuuming, re-arranging, organizing, and lazing around in-between. I’m still in the middle of it… I keep getting sidetracked.

Now I’m listening to some Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and John Mellencamp.

I just saw a couple of segments from the Live 8 concert in London. Velvet Revolver was really good, though I kinda got the impression that Scott Weiland didn’t have the slightest clue about why they were there.

Pink Floyd, on the other hand, was absolutely incredible. Here’s four guys who haven’t played together in over 30 years, and yet they still sound every bit as good as they did in their heyday. If you can, get a hold of that footage. It’s totally worth it.

Check the Snoop Dogg performance from Live8. He’s got a band with him, and it’s freakin’ sweet, I love it.

I listen to Death Metal pretty much the most, although i like other stuff as well.

“We Bleed”, “Shredded Humans” (right now), “Shadow of the Reaper”, “Devoid of Truth”, “Big/God Raped souls” to name a few.

After reading your post I feel ill.

Well the genre i listen to is definitely not for everyone.

That reply makes me feel better though, i’m not into mainstream music in general.

Sorry that you feel ill mate

I like that kind of music from time to time. I especially like to listen to it while I’m working out. Nothing like a good fast guitar riff and some unintelligible growling to get the adrenaline flowing! I find gangsta rap is good for that too.

Otherwise, I’ve been listening to a lot of straight-ahead hard rock these days. GNR, Velvet Revolver, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, stuff like that.

I’ve been rocking the Hammerfall pretty hard. I’m more into your classic and shred metal. I’ve been a big Maiden fan for years, but I’m just starting to get into Megadeth.

The Frames - Revelate
Bjork - I Miss You
CCR - I Heard it Through the Grapevine
The White Stripes - Little Ghost
Frank Black - I Burn Today
The Arcade Fire - Cars and Telephones
Drive By Truckers - Danko/Manuel
Echo and the Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
Spoon - I Turn My Camera On

Horny.
I’m Mr. Hornee
I have nobody
to chew my bone…

(sorry it would be inappropriate to divulge the rude lyrics we had for these old songs to my own kids. Specially Beatles tunes, it would make us look disrespectful…LOL)

WTF is that (I must pretend disinterest or they’ll groan) with the chipmunk version?

To say nothing of the lyrics for “Louie Louie.” There was a rumour going around for years that it was a song about sex. Of course, it’s a perfectly innocent, if nonsensical song, but the vocals were completely unintelligible.

Unlike half of the music out there today–dirty as hell, though it also is completely unintelligible.

Oh My God - pink

crucial - k-os

(night time is) the right time - ray charles
