I dont think a propane tank would blow up if you opened the valve and lite it.

Douchbag, yngwie_69 is right! It wouldn’t blow up, it’d just spit mad flames until it died… first, the pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the tank doesn’t wanna let stuff in, and more importantly, the air to fuel ratio doesn’t support combustion inside the tank–there is no air inside the tank, just fuel.
Believe me, I’ve tried some stupid ass stuff with fire.
