I wonder if City Hall would submit the same letter for the Exxon project after all all the points they put in the letter would apply to them as well. Or wait is that letter only for companies that want to locate here but not in the City’s jurisdiction? they only want business that pays our city property taxes.
they complain about our airport not being able to support the extra traffic, but yet our airport ferry runs approx. one million deficit, or the part about local business’s competing for workers, in other words they don’t want ppl working at the work camp for good wages? and then the one about natural gas flares might impede our air shed and airplanes, well Transport Canada signed off on it, as for the air shed won’t Exxon be just as bad?
