Server change

#1

I’m going to move servers in a few minutes… expect stuff not to work for a period of time.

Could be 5 minutes, could be an hour.

#2

Ok, should be on the new server now.

I’m sure there’s something I’ve screwed up, because that was way too smooth.

So if something’s not working, let me know.

#3

Oh, and expect other wonkiness as I stop and start apache and reload configs, etc…

#4

Looks like you moved back in time.  I guess you added a time machine.  First post at 6:19 pm, second one at 11:00am.

#5

Ah, this server’s on GMT… gotta fix it.  thanks.

#6

Time test

#7

Cool.  Looks fixed to me.

What’s the spec’s of the new server mig ?

#11

Neat…a drool proof server!!

#12

I hope you’re paying union rates, would hate to see a toddler picket line set up outside of your project…

#13

This server is very responsive. :sunglasses:
I just noticed that the server’s date is one day behind.

#14

Holy smokes MiG, you’re RTFMing.

#15

I gotta figure out the time thing, I think it’s screwy.

Test.

#16

Set to UTC?  That works for my Linux boxes.

#17

time check

#18

another time check.

setting the server to just to ntpdate every time it boots, and every hour too.  Sorry about the downtime, I just rebooted the whole thing to make sure both servers are updating the time properly.

Looks fine now.

#19

Going to add some more RAM to the server, so expect a few minutes of downtime later this evening.

#20

yo mig the server was already very good, I am thrilled to see you making it even more better for us

thanks dude
