I’m a Rogers cellphone customer. Yesterday my cellphone time jumped ahead one hour and after several minutes reset itself to the correct time. I thought my phone was malfunctioning. I did a little search online and discovered that there’s a cellphone tower between Ridley and Port Ed that’s down; that’s the cause of the time glitch. Rogers won’t fix this right away. To get around this issue go into time and date settings and turn off the automatic time setting and set time to Vancouver.
I had the same issues about 5 months ago. Lasted a couple months and yes, that was my work around as well.

Rogers decides to piss off even more people closing many radio stations. Just shut down Vamcouver’s Sports station and its all News station.
I remember the original stations they were in the 1060d -70s-80s
I would cancel their ass and use another provider, but, they’re the only service that works at my house. The connectivity is generally pretty good. They’re money-grubbing bastards.
You can pay a dollar less with those guys or a dollar more with the other guys. they’re as ‘competitive’ as Loblaws and Jim Pattison.
