Re: homicide

So what we have had here is two murders this last few months, does Surrey ring a bell to anyone. I think we need our own Cleaner or Outreach worker back.

My sympathies to his family.  Randy was always a very kind and respectful man to me where I work and this is a very sad tragedy.

As far as I’m concerned Surrey isn’t really that bad since the last gang-related incident took place, and most of that crap happened in the northwest quarter of that town and North Delta.

Abbotsford is really the area of most concern right now, but that wouldn’t stop me from going to places such as Tradex and the airshow.

Anyway, my condolences to Randy’s family.

Since the Podunkian’s on vacation, I’ll fill in and post the relevant news story:

One man dead, another seriously injured

A Prince Rupert suspect has been apprehended by police after a man was killed in a stabbing incident Saturday.

Edward Paul Dundas, a 20-year old man who is known to police and has previous convictions but no known history of violence, is being held by police in connection with a stabbing incident last Saturday afternoon. He is believed to have disappeared shortly after two local fifty-year old men were stabbed.
One of the fifty-year old men was found dead by police at 9 p.m. Saturday evening. He was found with multiple stab wounds.
The other fifty-year old man is in stable condition at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital after suffering knife wounds to the back, face and neck that required surgery.
It is not clear as to what began the altercation, said RCMP Cpl. Mike Traas.
“It appears to be a domestic situation, we can say that much at this point,â€[/quote]

what shocks me is that it was all over 18 beer!

Sad the lack of value some people put on life…

Why are they calling it “Attempted” murder?

I was wondering the same thing…Any answers guys ?

Oh because he’ll probably plead not-guilty, and get off on a technicality of course!

Could it be that Mr. Dundas is charged with the attempted murder of the person who is now in the hospital and that the person in the hospital might be charged with the murder of the other fellow?

no thats not how it happend. the guy in the hospital did not kill any one Mr. Dundas killed his father and then went after Mr. Reece. After Mr. Reece was taken to the hospital Mr. Dundas tried to go up and imposse as Mr. Reece’s bro to try and finishes him off Mrs. Reece seen him and called the police but he ran

Morning update from the Prince Rupert RCMP:

Edward Dundas, who was charged with attempted murder yesterday, now faces murder charges related to the death of his 50 year old father, Randy Clifford Dundas.

So now you have it and everyone can say he is charged with murder and attempt. One of my lady friends said that Randy was getting counciling from certain preachers, well done. My ladies and I will miss seeing Randy smile.

Prince George Citizen - Dundas arraignment postponed: bit.ly/KnALc

Why is all this news in the PG Citizen instead of the Daily News website?

The Daily News has a website??  lol

daily news had a ad saying their news will be in the pg paper . they are co owned are they not?

Especially since there was a reporter in the courtroom. Maybe he was from PG…lol

Mr. Reece is doing much better he was out on a day pass yesterday.

Excellent!

I went to school with Ed and even used to hang out in the same group at the beginning of high school. I can’t believe so much has changed, craziness. And two homicides in one year, just nuts.
