yep they are going to use the fibre for cable we are getting HD and the 100 - 200 plus channel universe sometimes in May if my friend is right, but they don’t need to go through Telus for that so it won’t interfere with our very slow lately Internet service. supposedly fibre will run by your house if it doesn’t allready and a co-axial cable to the house from the fibre

Good question, smartass:-) I just chose the server that popped up as recommended. Maybe it is a Telus conspiracy! Weird:-) I get my “excellent” Internet connection from CityWest:-)

I would say it is the time of day, smartass. I’ve noticed a decided speed increase very early in the morning or late at night. I did my posted speed test very early in the morning.
During the early afternoon and evening my download speeds frequently suck. Too many people on the network perhaps.
My speed now sucks:( It is much better in the morning or very late at night.
