I was really truly impressed by yours.

The graphics are great, no ghosting at all on the LCD. Perfect size, great controls.

I love my PSP. Everyone who plays it loves it. It’s just an awesome piece of technology.

Once prices come down, I’ll probably shoplift one.

I bet in a few more weeks, we’ll see a Linux bootloader for them. But I was thinking… DVD/CD drives… they use a different wavelength of laser when reading a DVD or a CD. Do they use two laser modules? Or does the drive firmware change the wavelength depending on the type of disc inserted?

Those sneaky PSP UMD drives… I’d like to see some modified drive firmware to allow reading of DVDs. Optical media is written from the inside out, so you could take a DVD and cut it down to size, and slam it into a UMD cartridge. A Linux prepped mini-DVD reading PSP is my favorite wet dream. With the Wi-Fi and pretty screen, boy would that be nice.
