The Prince Rupert Port Authority today announced that it is working with a major international firm to potentially bring a liquified natural gas (LNG) plant to the community.
is this the same lng line that was proposed to Kitimat?
No, its not. Shell (BG Group’s biggest rival) is attached to the project in Kitimat.
This is great news for Prince Rupert if it happens. Hopefully the port does everything it can to get this BG Terminal to Prince Rupert.
