The final journey of Nelson Leeson, will include a stop in Prince Rupert tonight as members of the Nisga’a nation mourn his passing at a memorial service at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre at 7 pm this evening.
Mr. Leeson, the President of the Nisga’a Lisims Government passed away in a Prince George hospital on Thursday, after suffering a seizure, his passing has been commemorated across the province and country by many who had cause to work with him over the years as he advocated on behalf of the Nisga’a.
