At least one of the candidates for the upcoming provincial election is now known following the candidate selection meeting held by the North Coast Liberal Riding Association on the night of January 15.
According to Judy Fraser with the riding association, former two-term Prince Rupert Mayor Herb Pond was acclaimed into the candidacy and will be running under the Liberal banner for the May 12 vote
