For the first time in nearly three years, the Liberals are leading in the polls as support for the Conservatives and NDP slides. The Liberals would have a roughly three-in-four chance of winning the most seats if an election were held today, while the odds that Mark Carney would secure a majority government would be the equivalent of a coin toss.
actually we did have a liberal rep federally a few times that is how we got our container port money, love Ross but since he switched to the PP Party won’t vote for him, might waste my vote or if i think it will be close vote NDP , but Singh is desperate for ripping the liberals apart for giving him the things he wanted
He’s merely jealous the Liberals got all the credit and everyone forgot it was Singh’s policy.|
And let’s hope PP keeps dumping on the NDP, he seems to thinks Dippers are going to make a 180 and support him. INOW they’ll abandon their ideals as fast as CPC supporters abandoned conservatism.
PP already found a dupe to step down in a nice safe Alberta (of course) seat that’s 82% Tory.
But it will take enough time until the byelection for PP to invent new slogans and double down on obnoxious policies. Danielle will help.
The weird thing is that’s not really a “traditional” Reform / UPC / Wild Rose area. It’s more of a Progressive Conservative area. If the Liberals could find an old PC candidate that never went along with the populists, I’m sure they could score some votes even in that riding.
Alberta is the case study for why we need proportionate representation. Heck, all of Canada is…
I’ve lived on the North Coast since 1982. I don’t remember this riding ever going to the Cons(Federally). Now we’re a Con riding. I hate everything. haha
