What did not come across in the PRDN story but should be underscored and noted for future reference is the following comment from ThePodunkian:
“Left unsaid is what use the land will have and if a working pulp mill is part of any future plans.”
We should not assume that the plans include re-opening the pulp mill. Given the state of the forest industry and the relative decline of the coastal industry in recent decades, hopefully some new ideas will emerge.
