Is that the one out near Kasiks Wilderness Lodge that I see nearly every time I go to Terrace (probably to shop…just to keep it on topic…kinda).  If so…I swear its a just weaned grizzly…but I am not an expert.  This one…

the group we went with did have permission.  very few people are allowed to go with out guides. we had the whole island to our selfs for a few hours.
Metlakatla even provided us with a boat to get us over and back… it was very nice…

my wife who is Tsimshian and also speaks Tsimshian, said a prayer when we arrived.

Yeah I just recognized the petroglyph, from what I gather you seem as though you treat everything with respect.

thanks… I have great respect and keen interest in first nations culture, I have a half sister who is first nations, my children are first Nations. l  spent most of my time in  village of Skidigate, when i lived in the QCI.
