You have an Overpricey in Rupert too. As I opened my bacon for breakfast I just discovered the Welfare Family brand was a rip! It’s cheaper because it’s friggin’ smaller! 375g instead of 500g.
I’ve also figured out that the stuff with red tags is not really on sale, it’s special. It’s stuff that was on sale last week, the price is what is was the week before it was on sale, and the ‘regular price’ has been hiked significantly.
And after remodelling the store here, all the prices are up and the generic equivalents are all gone…
