Does anyone know what is being built in the lot that had the apartment block (on Park Avenue)?
That is an old BC Housing Site which the Transition House acquired to build apartments for women( and their children) in need of housing while making changes in their lives… Women will be able to live in the units long term until they are able to acquire other housing in the community.
They will be given support as required.
I am not sure if part of the property will be a new Transition House in the form we already have.
