I need a new Vid card, has to be AGP.
I have a 9250 right now and it sucks.
I dont understand all the 6600 gs 6600 xt 6600 st
I just want a good one.
Well I’m assuming you have AGP8x
So you’ll want either the 6600GT
or a 9600 XT
The thing with the 6600GT thing is that you need an extra power dongle.
Or at least a power supply that can handle the load. On the site the
minimum is a 300W but I myself would personally go for a 350W or a 400W.
Personally though…I’d save up your money and get a mobo with a PCI-E
slot. Because there are alot more options (7800GTX, 6600GT (with a three peice heatsink & a heatpipe to cool it) and a hell of a lot more).
But yeah…if your considering sticking with AGP for a lil while longer then
the 6600GT is probably your best bet if you have at least a 300W power
supply.
Think im going for the 6600gt, I have a good mobo will last me another few years. my power supply is i think 450
I’m ordering a new pci-e mobo and a 7800gt on friday, should be here next week with my new processor as well… I’ll sell you my 6600gt for $125. It the XFX 6600gt 128MB AGP 8X. 6600gt is much more powerful that the 9600xt by the way. The 6600gt is actually an improvement from my 9800xt… in all cases it beats the 9800 hands down.
How old is it? 125 is kinda pricey being that i can get it for $50 more new, with warrenty
i ordered a new mobo w/ cpu ram and vid card on christmas eve (when the ncix boxing day sale started).
i missed out on the limited quantity 7800gt’s for 299.98, that was an awesome deal. where are you getting ur 7800 from delirious?

haha I for one thought that was a minor mistake made by ncix. I mean
I was wondering why the price considerly dropped down alot in price.
I myself don’t have a pci-e mobo yet though.
But eh…my msi geforce 6600 is doing the job well 
getting my card and mobo from ncix… eVGA combo.
the xfx 6600gt i have is only 2 months old… warantee is still good.

Yes I still have the box cables/drivers, documentations, ect. $100 sounds ok… This is joel. You can call me after 5:00 today at 624-5763… Tomorrow though I dont get off work until 9:00pm. Ordering the new stuff tomorrow, so I’ll be done with the 6600 by tuesday or wednesday.

I wanna upgrade to athlon 64… and ncix has a wicked deal on the 7800gt and pci-e mobo combo… as well as the new CPU… The card has not been overclocked…
