The Prince Rupert RCMP have released the name of the 15 year old girl killed in a car accident on Saturday morning on Rainbow Summit just east of town.
Regardless of the circumstances resulting in this tragic accident, this is more than enough reason to upgrade the entire stretch of Highway 16 in terms of safety so that nobody have to meet the same fate. Such as installing strong barriers where the road runs on top of the cliff.
