Merry Christmas everyone and to those who don’t observe Christmas I wish you a safe and happy holiday!! I’ve been on this rock for 63 years; this is the oddest Christmas ever. It’s all good. I’m happy and healthy.

No “WAKE UP Granpa,wake UP!!” this morning. Have to wait for a Zoom gathering this afternoon.

Xavier received an Amazon Echo thingie for Christmas. So he also wanted the app on his phone.
5 minutes after I installed it, and logged in to my amazon account, he had configured a custom action. If anybody in the house asked any of the Alexa devices anything, she would reply “no.”
“Alexa, make an announcement.”
“No.”
“Alexa, drop in to the shed.”
“No.”
“Alexa, play some Christmas music.”
“No.”
“Alexa, set a 5 hour timer”
“No.”
Then he didn’t know how to undo it.
So annoyed, and so proud at the same time.
