Just curious, does anyone know the reason for the Lightering dock being removed from Kwinitsa ?

I would think that now that the new cruise ship dock is open no need for this dock, as at one time is was used to transport cruise ship passanges off and on the ship.
It still gets use from time to time, last year I think the cruise terminal had a ship at berth, as did the Atlin Terminal, so if memory serves correct a third ship that was in disembarked into their shuttle boats using the lightening dock.
Sadly for our tourism sector, that probably won’t be a problem next year though.
