“Fair and Balanced” means that a journalist does everything possible to dig up and highlight two sides of an issue, no matter how ridiculous.
“Today in Prince Rupert, Environment Canada reported that the temperature was 6 degrees. However, leading opponents speculated that the temperature was politically motivated, and insisted that it was actually 3 degrees.”
That’s the kind of crap that neo-con TV is all about. Take a fact, and “balance” it, no matter how much of a stretch of the truth it is. Take Obama’s place of birth, for example.
Some things don’t need “balance” … They need truth.
